2026 September Gallery

📸✨ Welcome to the September edition of photo magic!

This month will take you along the French coast — from the towering lighthouses of Gatteville and Goury on the Cotentin peninsula, to the chalk-white cliffs of Étretat rising straight out of the sea. 🗼 A few quiet war memorials along the way were a reminder of just how much history lines this coastline.

Nature still found a way to steal the show. A Whinchat perched proudly on the gorse in the golden evening light, swallows lined up on a wire like they were rehearsing for winter, and a Roe Deer paused just long enough for one photo before disappearing back into the grass. 🦌

Down among the flowers, Common Blue and Marbled White butterflies were busy working the thistles, completely unbothered by the sea breeze. 🦋
