2025 Galleries — A year of birds, aviation and nature across the Netherlands

2025 was a year full of surprises behind the lens. From military jets at airshows to rare birds in the Dutch wetlands, every month brought something new. The 200 Birds Challenge pushed me further than expected — 151 species spotted across the Netherlands, including a Purple Swamphen, only the third ever recorded in the country. Add dragonflies, butterflies, a trip to France, and a puppy named Raki, and you have a pretty complete year. Browse the 2025 Galleries below and see what caught my eye.
