Capturing the Wings of the Netherlands: A Challenge to Photograph 200 Birds
It’s been a while since my last post on October 31, 2023, about the Belgium Air Force Days. Time really flies when you’re having fun! And to think I mentioned in July that I was slowing down… Well, that only applied to posting photos on my socials – I never actually stopped taking them! ????
In 2025, I’m taking on a new challenge:
A Challenge to photograph 200 birds in the Netherlands!
From winter visitors and migratory birds to those that call this country home year-round, this challenge is the perfect way to explore the incredible birdlife the Netherlands has to offer. And we’re talking about 200 different spicies ????
From colorful songbirds to powerful raptors, the country is home to an amazing variety of species, and I can’t wait to capture them through my lens. Whether I’m out in the field as a passionate birdwatcher or behind the camera as a photography enthusiast, each sighting will bring me one step closer to my goal.
I’m excited to see how many bird species I can photograph in 2025.
