The APROC 2018 Album is live.

In the post, of 2018/06/09, I mentioned that 2018 was the year that the Royal Netherlands Air Force hosted the exercise APROC 2018.

It took me some more time. Summer holiday took a lot of time to get it sorted out and published. Finally, it’s here. There are more pictures which I’ll add later

What’s next?

I had another shoot with lovely puppies last week. I’ll post an album of these little creatures soon.

With regard to planes and helicopters, the next one is already planned.  The Belgian Air Force Day. Next Saturday we’ll be heading for Belgium

Keep an eye on my portfolio

Enjoy!!

APROC

APROC stands for Air Centric Personal Recovery Operative Course.

The course is organized, each year, by a different host.
In this course, the main target is to rescue personnel that is in distress, in a hostile environment or much as enemy territory.

Different techniques for surviving and evading from possible hostile environments are being used.
Participants will face realistic conditions and circumstances.

At the EPRC website, (European Personnel Recovery Center) more information can be found on why, how and what.

Course Objective

The aim of this APROC 2018 course is to teach aircrew and extraction forces to work together. The focus of the course is especially in planning and executing recovery missions and using standardized procedures, terminology, and formats.

The trainees will learn how to plan and conduct complex Personal Recovery missions and therefore the focus will be primarily on processes and procedures.

The trainees will plan several tactical missions with increasing difficulties.
As a result, the trainees will experience a steady learning curve.
Therefore various threats will be simulated in order to create these required scenarios.
